Grace and MaMaw Sweetie embarked on their first big road trip today. They are headed to West Virginia to visit Aunt Connie and Uncle Eddie, and to see my grandparents and cousins for five days. Scott and I anticipated a some healthy trepidation, maybe "you coming too Mommy?"...instead, Grace woke up at 2am this morning and told me in her sweetest little voice "I'm ready to go now!" This continued all morning long until their planned 12 noon departure. So much for separation anxiety. Sweetie called shortly into their trip to report that Grace had been saying "We're on our way!" repeatedly for ten minutes straight. Lucky for MaMaw. I was really thinking "lucky for me" but now all I can hear is the quiet. We are missing our tiny terrorist already!
