Dropping like flies...

Patty was released from the hospital Monday and charged to return on Thursday for her planned c-section - aside from a splitting headache, she is over the stomach virus. All was well until 8pm last night when the virus claimed MaMaw, and a few hours later, Paul. On top of it all, Patty is now having contractions best described by her as "real." Stress is running a little high in the Roberts house right now and I just wanted to let everyone know. As if this weren't enough, today is the anniversary of my Dad's death. Despite all of this madness, by the end of the week, these two precious babies will be in our arms and the holes in our hearts will be filled with love. I sound like a Hallmark. The thing is, after this crazy week, adjusting to life with twins is going to be a breeze for Patty and Paul!

UPDATE AS OF 1PM:
Patty talked herself out of labor and the contractions have slowed down. Mom is doing much better but Paul is still pretty sick. Unfortunately, Patty's doctor feels that he is too contagious to be in the operating room tomorrow. He is going to allow Mom to be there though so at least Patty won't be alone. The 120 miles between us have never felt longer!
