Spring has sprung - but this is Charlottesville so sprung may be generous: despite the 70* weather we enjoyed yesterday, we are currently under a winter weather advisory today. Despite the fact that we are expecting an inch of the white stuff today, we were able to enjoy some fun in the great outdoors earlier this week! Again this is Charlottesville, where gelato shops outnumber ice cream parlors 4:1. Thus, we took the kids for pizza and gelato downtown and had multiple picnics in our front yard.
We have a big weekend on the horizon: Grace's first soccer game in on Saturday! We took her to get cleats and pink "bin" guards last week - she has worn them to bed each night since. With the warm weather this week, she thought she might like to work on "dat kicking" with her new yellow soccer ball (regrettably they were out of pink). We could get the girl in cleats but couldn't seperate her from her smocked dress and hairbow!
