Snow Day!

Grace and Andy woke up (early) (did I mention early) (as in still dark early) to welcome the much anticipated snow. They called for an inch or two, we got well over five. I spent the day outside with the snoweaters (Andy must have eaten his weight three times over) - we checked all of the boxes: snow angels, snowball fights, snowman ("mr. lumpy"), sledding. That last item caused a few problems. I couldn't find the sled in our not-one-more-item-shed so I grabbed the old inflatable baby pool. Extremely comical that said (useless) item was conveniently located in a clear small container labeled with "INFANT POOL" but you'd have to see the rest of our shed organization to fully appreciate the humor... Anyway, baby pool toboggan - right. Andy is fearless and I should've known I was headed for trouble when he gave the crazy eye and said "nonomama!" We live on a steep hill and there is concrete storm drain at the bottom. Disaster. Good news: Grace still has every tooth. Bad news: I can't bend at the waist as my back took full and total impact! Today is trash day...guess which item tops our trash pile!
