My aspirations of updating the blog every few hours with new pictures of our weekend adventures with cousin Bayley fell flat about 12 hours into the weekend...we were having entirely too much fun!
Grace, Bayley and Andy woke up Saturday and assumed their alter egos: Grace was Belle (of course), Andy was John Glenn (of course), and Bayley the Wicked Witch. There wasn't a thing wicked about her - but she insisted that witches were more fun than princesses. And that is a direct quote.
Scott and I took the kids peach picking. The cutest peaches at the orchard were these three. By the way, we begged them to take the costumes off. We were over ruled.
Wicked Witch and John Glenn racing up the mountain. They took excellent naps that day. So did we.
Obligatory orchard picture.
Grace, Andy, and Bayley being cocoons. This after crawling on the lawn (ok, dirt) for thirty minutes pretending to be caterpillars.
Caterpillars became butterflies, complete with wings and rhythmic gymnastics ribbons. It's an Olympic year...go with it.
We let the butterflies fly down the path to the playground.
Post butterfly painting party in the front yard. They had a ball.
Bayley painting with her favorite color: black!
