Sweetie was the guest reader for Grace's class today. Grace was so excited about this that she took Sweetie's picture for show and tell on Wednesday so that "the other preschoolfriends would know who was coming on Friday!" I love that Grace calls her classmates "preschoolfriends." One word. Sweetie's favorite tear jerker song is, and has been for quite some time, "I Hope You Dance." Naturally, she read the book based on the song to the class today and then broke the class out into a spontaneous dance session. Only Sweetie. Not only does she hope you'll dance but she stands at the ready to do it with you! And fortunately for Scott and me, Sweetie continued that dance all the way up the road to DC with Grace and Andy for the weekend!
