Sweetie's birthday is this Wednesday so, in the spirit of Andy Smith the great, we kicked off the season a little early. We entrusted the six kids to two gloriously capable babysitters (the legendary Miss Michelle from Charlottesville moved to DC last year - we knew just who to call) and hit the town! It was so nice to have an evening of uninterrupted adult converation...which naturally focused on the children. We need to make a point of doing this more often. We laughed so hard I thought we were going to be asked to leave...it is a pretty wonderful thing when you can't remember having such a great time out...and you're with your mother. We really are lucky to have you Sweetie! So nice of the kids to share you with us for an evening!
