Tuckered and Tattered and Otherwise Exhausted

Today was the very last day of preschool for Grace and Andy. It's been a heck of a year on the preschool front. We may have only been at First Baptist ECDC for a mere five months, but my mom and I cried our eyes out as we hugged the neck of each of the four teachers who went out of their way for Grace and Andy. This school officially has me by the measuring cup. I will make, bake, take, and create anything they ever ask of me! These teachers should get medals and a parade; instead we gave them flowers and a gift card to Barnes and Noble. I couldn't find my camera this morning (a consistent theme around here on day 2 in the new house) so I'm posting some of my favorites from the last few weeks. We had tea parties and water day and a hilarious "little mister big and little miss big" party and teacher appreciation soirees and pajama day and on and on...so much fun but no wonder we're worn out! Officially summer here...bring on the lemonade and fire up the grill.

This was a normal day for Grace, but she thought she ought to pose for good measure.

"ANDY!!! DON'T YOU DARE!!! ANDY!!!!" We changed clothes before school this day.

Ladybug tea party. Grace's teachers Mrs. McLane and Mrs. Sykes were just wonderful!

Picking up doughnuts for the teachers...and letting the kids sneak one before school (with Charlie and Evan).

I'm may be losing, but I'm going down in a smocked and monogrammed blaze of glory. Grace 1, Mom 0 on this day...but isn't she adorable?!

Last school day at the old house. They were especially huggy.
