Yesterday, we celebrated Scott's very last day of "school!" Scott started his educational journey at Happy Face Preschool in New Orleans, Louisiana. Preschool, K-12, four years at Wake Forest University, eight years in the MD/PhD program at the Medical University of South Carolina, 3 years of internal medicine residency and 2 years of allergy/immunology fellowship both at the University of Virginia...30 years in all. We're so proud of you! And we're so glad you're DONE!
And today, Scott had his very first day of his very first job as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Virgina. Big position...so why do I just crack up at this picture?! So dignified. I'm so glad that we get to have the less dignified water balloon champion at home!
