Happy Fadders's Day!

Sweetie and Bayley stopped in Charlottesville on Saturday on their way back from West Virginia and we were able to twist their arms into spending one more night with us! We went to church on Sunday together and then went to Father's Day Brunch at the Boars Head. Joy never multiplies as fast as it does with children: everything they do together is so much more special. ("Bayley, now it is MY turn to get the blessing!") They had a ball together!
Grace and Andy worked all week on paintings for Daddy's new office. Andy painted "the ball ride" at Epcot and a really neat portrait that he titled "Kiki my Monkey Playing in Blue My Favorite Color." Grace, our budding artist, painted a portrait of her Hippo and a precious picture of Princess Belle that should have been titled "What I Look Like Every Day When I'm Waiting For You to Come Home." She remains, as an aside, committed to living out her five-year-old-days in that tattered yellow Belle dress.
I am typing fast because we're all heading out to give Daddy part 2 of his "Fadders Day" present: we're washing and waxing his car. Seriously. With 2 kids. He clearly must be one incredible Daddy...and he is!
