This was THE week. I met Mom in Richmond on Monday to hand over Stella and Fella for the week. My plans for the week were simple: unpack the last of the boxes and address the stacks of stuff that I keep moving from room to room. I did just that yesterday...for exactly one hour and 23 minutes until I got the call. My niece Wylloh is sick, really sick. Her pediatrician thinks it could be e. coli and she was sent to the hospital yesterday. E. coli can obviously be very serious; it can also be very contagious. After a brief chat with one of Scott's pediatric colleagues, I hopped in the car and headed north to get Grace and Andy. They weren't happy but we obviously need to keep them well, not to mention free up Sweetie because Patty's hands are especially full. Sweetie being Sweetie, had managed to squeeze in a trip to the toy store during the 18 hours that she had my kids so we're breaking out the new loot here and painting get well masterpieces for our little Wylloh. We're also praying that the rest of the grands stay well!
